  in the episode i just watched, the doctor was fiddling with rose's cellphone and used the term "jiggery-pokery.

  " i'm pretty sure that's what he said.

  what does that term mean?

  Oh my Gill...we have lots in common. I kept telling my husband I wouldn't look at statues the same ever again.....and I'm sure I won't. I'm glad I wasn't the only scared one then. It's funny how little kids can sometimes not be frightened of something us adults would.

  The even funnier bit of that evening was my dear husband trying to scare me more, until I threatened him that I would keep him up as long as I'm awake. And now every night we play jokes on each other blinking until the other one makes a scary face and comes closer to the other...too funny!!!1

  Dr. Who is a great show though. I think this is the first one I've watched all the way through, the older ones, I just caught episodes every now and then. But Mr. Caedes and I don't miss an episode now.

  OOPS! Just realized I put this in the wrong spot in the thread, it should be after my first post and Gill's last post, but I don't know how to move it without deleting and starting over....oh well! you get the gist.

  In reply to my husbands previous post....I didn't bruise him THAT badly... I had to grab for someone, they kept getting closer and closer to that guy and the faces just got worse....with the claws and fangs..... oh bloody hell; where's the sofa when you need it!!!! I did see a little statue in a garden the next work day and I had to laugh.......ok I also did look over my shoulder too It was scary! (hee hee)

  i thought i should write a big thanks to simon for this board, not only has it been a big eye-opener to me regarding my past and helped me realise how many people have been through the same stuff as i have, but it's through this board that i've met a wonderful woman, michelle (calico ethel).. michelle is beautiful, intelligent, funny and luckily for me has terrible eyesight, i feel very fortunate to have met her and hopefully (presuming i can keep on hiding her glasses!

  ) we shall be very happy together in the future.

  she has rather recklessly and bravely agreed to move in with me and is moving over at the beginning of february.

  Thanks for mentioning the underwear honey....that's sweet. I hope you are liking them. We can keep them as a permanent decoration for the bedroom if you'd like.

  I don't care that we have our own thread. I think our love is special enough that it deserves it's own. (not that everyone else's doesn't, but I think you all know what I mean) Besides....I didn't know so many other people found love over this site. I thought we were the only ones. Who would have thought?????

  2 weeks can't go by quick enough. What do you mean grumpy old git??? You are none of those things. And I'm sure you'll see me when I'm difficult. I just hope you won't want to give me back to my old pathetic way of life after you do. I'm too attached to you to let you go now. Saying goodbye to you last time nearly killed me, it would if I had to do it again.

  I think this sort of thing can happen to anyone. I would have to be thankful for Calvin and Hobbes too.....

  That's the whole reason I met him to begin with. Just looking through people's avatar's the first week I signed up to this site, I noticed someone had Hobbes as his avatar. I am a big fan of the cartoon's and so I PM'd him and he PM'd me back. Then we started emailing each other. It's been an almost everyday thing with us now. And when we don't get to email, we either text or phone each other. He will text me just to say goodnight and that he loves me.....He really is the sweetest man in the world. He takes care of me and I want to take care of him. I'm so grateful and blessed

  I can't believe it worked. I had to resize the picture before it would let me paste it....YEAH!!!!!! I'm so happy

  By the way....we are both really red because it was REALLY cold. He was laughing at me because I was trying to warm up my ears all day long. It kind of worked

  I am very excited to move to England. It's a whole different country over there (obviously)

  They call crunchy cookies biscuits....hee hee

  I'm trying to get used to all of the phrases and terminology. It'll take me awhile, but I think it's really fun and I thought everyone was very nice. Martin's friends and family made me feel very comfortable and at home. I'll have lots to explore over there and once moved over there I will try to post more pictures of us together on the site so you all can see how happy we are and how much we love each other....that is if I can figure out how to paste a picture on the site (doh!)

  I would have probably written more earlier, but I was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Schne_belly (Krysanthemum) and I didn't want to be rude spending all day long on the computer at there home.

  It's a good thing that I'm moving to England because the phone bills are killing me, but not as much as being away from Martin. I love him so much and think of him every second of the day.

  The best part is that we were first friends and got to know each other slowly and found out more and more things we had in common. He makes me laugh and smile like no one else. And he makes me feel special too, which is a difficult thing to do. I went through a divorce early last year and I didn't think I would ever find anyone to share my life with again. When I met Martin I knew that my life would never be the same again. It's gotten only better. He makes be a better person. I feel like a different person....in a good way. I not only thank Simon, but my friend Krissie for talking me into coming on here. I would never have met Martin if I hadn't listened to her and I'm thankful everyday for her friendship.

  I thank Martin for loving me, even though I know I can be difficult at times. I can't wait to go home with him in 3 weeks time

  I love you Martin. Thank you for being the best part of my life.

  The picture is of my man and I on my first day once I arrived in London.

  Anyway, back to what I was saying in my previous post....

  I love you and I never want to be away from you. It'll be a month since we've last seen each other and I can't wait till the second I see you again to hold you and tell you how much I love you in person.

  I must agree with Caedes and offer Simon a drink on both of us. I'm working on getting the picture put up of us on my first day there with you.

  I was so happy to see that you posted this today. I'm sorry my reply is later than I would have liked, but with the 6 hour time difference.....

  I'm missing you as always and can't wait to move over and be with all the time. I don't think you need to worry about hiding any glasses though. I see just fine and you are the most handsome man in the world to me. Not only that, you are the sweetest, most generous, loving man as well. I have loved every second since knowing you and can't wait to share my life with you. I'm looking forward to being a part of your life and being there for you when you need someone.

  My good friends Schne_belly told me of the site and I started coming on here in September after going through a divorce earlier this year and deciding I wasn't going to go back to the meetings ever.

  I am very glad I was told of this site. I never would have met such an amazing man if I hadn't And now I'm in love again.
